Faith

Faith is unwavering assurance in God that He who has promised is faithful.

Hebrew 10:23 “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful”

Romans 4: 21 “being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised”

Hebrew 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see”

Faith is walking on the challenges of life with eyes focused only on God.

Matthew 14:28-29 "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water. Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus”

Matt 11: 23 "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him”

Faith is knowing that God’s ways are not our ways.  

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

 I Corinthians 1: 27 “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong”

Faith says “Be still and know that I am God”

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
