I AM BISEXUAL

Is there a dress for every occasion? What is a church appropriate dress? What is a club appropriate dress? What is an office appropriate dressing?
I am asking these questions because I have noticed for a while now that the female dressing to church these days is “ku diye kato” (remain small make it reach). Most times I sit as close to the altar as possible because I don’t like distractions. However, someway somehow, this year 2013, I have had to sit towards the back and wetin my eyes have seen, my mouth must talk.
Infact, as a woman I have been sexually assaulted from neck plunging dresses to bum-bum showing outfits by fellow women……..kilode….. if we want to hide under the guise of “it is the heart that God looks at” the bible also says in I Corinthians 8:13 “Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause him to fall”
Let us help our guys to worship God in the church without their roving eyes because, even Sykik was tempted, my eyes kept following hot fresh thighs, the rise and fall of bum-bums, well packaged almost bursting booby…kai…front, I no fit look, side nko……mba………it was from one revealing short dress to another, even when Pastor say turn back and tell your neighbour “it is well with him/her”…I was finally lost because I didn’t know where to look.
I understand that there are men who irrespective of what women wear can’t control their libido, so I am not preaching at or justifying anyone. I am only asking that we give unto Caesar what is Caesars…let us be appropriately dressed at all times and for every occasion.
Maybe oyinbo people have seen booby and bum-bum tire sotay they are not moved by such sights anymore but in this part of the world at least for Sykik’s sake ….…make we take am small-small especially in church.
How can we lift up holy hands in worship when the lifting reveals more than necessary…………
I remember Afronuts did a post on something like this also

NB: On a final note, I have some of these clothes oh…so I am no saint, but, my liver will never gree me wear them to church. I think I am rambling now…make I stop
I also noticed little girls wear clothes they have outgrown which reveals a lot of flesh…..abeg paedophiles dey town oh….at last if we wear our own, we owe the kids to keep them protected from vampires.

    2. So true@Jemima. You see some little children dressed in 'barely-there' fashion that you begin to wonder at the parents. That is the foundation where it all begins.

  5. Your post addresses a very serious problem in church. I feel you as I have seen these kind of dressing that you described here, lol. I did a blog post on this topic in May, 2011. I need you to read and see what I had to say. This is the link: http://bit.ly/WxtzIM.
Sometimes you see some kind of dressing and laugh until your tummy aches, sometimes you stare until your eyes nearly pop out of their sockets. All sad, hillarious, and shocking-all at once.

    1. I read your post and I must say you did a better job at writing about it than I did. I haff tire for the show of flesh, the church which should be a place of succour is being turned into a place of temptation.

the unnecessary distractions by some of these dresings are not needed. we are first and foremost flesh and the eyes is the window of the body.

  7. @Sykik, .......babe, you cracked me up real good. So true how these things happen in different churches. Sometimes, the makeup just makes you wonder what for? Kid, they are just a reflection of their parents. May God help us all

  9. This your title na waoh! As for women exposing all that should be covered in church... just know that God cannot be tempted. If it were only single girls.. one would advise them to take their hustle else where, but what do you say when you see married women wearing only shirts/dress shirts to church? haha!what are they still looking at? please take your hustle to your hubby abeg and free us from the nasty sight. If oyinbo people haf see and tire... we don't want to see let alone be tired. Na by force? Kilode gaan! All ye semi nude ladies in church... you need Jesus and not the bro you came to husle for!
Sykik... God bless you for this post joorrr!
